mr. kaiyou asked about extra manpower. we can't really grant access to anyone other than we have now unless someone switches out, and i can't unlimit the people the doctor put on probation, but you can all consult with one another so long as you're in network areas although in some locations you may only be able to reach your actual team consultant if you were assigned one. or one another if you were not. i'd advise you to maybe try not to get put on probation on here but i can't really stop you if you do. so i'll just say that this is still being monitored and none of you are actually required to work with us, so. please allow the people who are trying to the time to do so. i did warn mr. kaiyou it's a possibility. Other damage can be found around town such as broken windows, some destroyed buildings, etc. Strangely, the monsters were courteous and left people's homes alone (for the most part.) Please note: this mingle is for Group One and Group Three members. Those of Group Two are still missing and time is still moving normally. This means they have been gone for one week as of today. Group One and Group Three members may continue to create their own posts and logs about the state of affairs, though this post is a good time to link up and discuss what's happening city-side. I'm vaguely familiar with all of them, as well. Have you known them long?

Mari and Emil only since last month when I got the app, though I met Dave at the studio before that.

I guess I have. It is still a lot to take in.

Have you been sorted into one of those themed "groups", as well?

No, I have not. Have you?

I have, I'm afraid. We've been tasked with exploring the University basement.

It's been...interesting, to say the least.

Well, there've been a number of monsters, for one thing.

Secondly, there's some sort of machinery down there, and I'm not precisely sure what it does, but it's evidently important.

Do you think the machinery has anything to do with the monsters or why so many people disappeared?

[roseblooms]

To be perfectly honest, I'm really not sure. There wasn't any real detail on the machine that might've given away its purpose, or what benefit activating it would have. But we've done SOMETHING, anyway, and perhaps "something" is a step in the right direction.

More and more, it's sounding as though our benefactors know what needs to be done to set this to rights. We're just their instruments of achieving it, don't you think?

But if they know what needs to be done, why make us do it for them? Does it pose some sort of risk to them?

It may be they're not physically capable of it. It's possible we're being asked to operate as their "surrogate hands", of a sort.

Okay, that would make sense. Though it would be nice if they could just say so.

It would, wouldn't it?

Perhaps there are reasons why it can't be that easy. Or perhaps they simply like being needlessly cryptic.

I have had the app for so little time, I cannot say one way or another. But I feel being cryptic wastes time.
