Apparently the mailboxes can fit something this big in. I wouldn't have guessed. But also. The hell am I supposed to tell my foster dad if he finds this? I don't even know how to use a sword. I guess this is some reference to fighting the vampires or something from what I do remember of things for that other me? Not sure why it's green either, but it is one of my favourite colours. So I guess I can't complain there. It looks cool. I probably should ask on if anyone else here could teach me to not hurt myself with this thing? I dunno if I should probably find a different hiding place other than just shoving it in my wardrobe either.

I think you can use that same mailbox for storage, for physical stuff you don't want to have for the moment.

you could always tell your dad i gave you that sword as an early christmas present. it's motivation to get you to try out aikido. the classes will teach you to use the sword properly too. and you can always hide it under your bed or something. he doesn't check your room, does he? cause if he does, you can always give it to me to hide for you.

I can't call it exactly sword fighting, but if it comes to some basics with blades I could help you out if you're cool with it!

He doesn't really check it beyond telling me to clean it sometimes or coming in to talk,
but that usually isn't in nosing around or anything. But you're right. Aikido might help with this? Sort of. I'll hang onto it for now though.

You could teach me? Even basics would help. Would be more than what I figure now.

That's the way! You need to get the basics down pat to the point where you don't even have to think about them, then you've got a good foundation for the more complicated moves!

Can you organize some training swords? I don't want to risk breaking yours just because I get too into it! You don't mind getting some scrapes in the process, right? Training isn't sparring, but speaking from experience there's no way you really get around those once you get into it.

Someone told you about Dante's dojo sessions, right? There's a handful of people who show up for swordsmanship and there's always meetups going on.

Yea, Dante has... teacher? Mentor? Something kinds of people. They usually help in teaching all sorts of things. I saw one that did swords when I first signed up for the thing.

But I don't know any more than that. Not my kind of thing to use swords.

I've heard of people storing their items in the mailbox so you could always leave it in there. As long as you have your ticket, you should be able to get it back.

Also, I got back a sword a few months ago so if you need a sparring partner or no one has offered to teach you yet, I'm available during weekends.

Training swords? Like wooden practice ones? I guess I could ask around. Maybe my cousin might know, since she does aikido. But no, I don't mind if I get hurt. I'm used to that already with fights or generally messing around sometimes.

I guess I prefer hand-to-hand combat, but I also learned how to shoot a gun.

But for guns, they only have Nerf ones there. So... those are nice to use. But it's not the same thing.
