Hitori Togusa Well. Take what I was saying earlier into account. Ichi go, ichi e. Even if you're doing the same thing over and over again, the way you're doing it is the most important part. There's a focus on the process, rather than the result. Practice perfectly and the end will come on its own.
Hitori Togusa Great idea for martial arts. Bad idea for commercial success.
Hitori Togusa Add in the focus on tradition, and, what is valued is the act of doing work, but the end results are expected to just happen from work.
Hitori Togusa The disconnection? Comes from about my generation and younger. A bit of pushback against this idea. Thus the words pop up and get used more frequently by younger Japanese.
