What's in a name?

Any name suggestions? Before you ask YES she was one of the shelter dogs in the Recolle 99th Precinct calendar.

Belle.

[It's easy to say or shout, and true. She's a very pretty puppy. ]

That has always been a pretty name in my opinion. No pun intended.

It's impossible to get mad at that face. She shreds something and you catch yourself going, "Aww!" Little troublemaker.

That's a dangerous skill she has. If you aren't careful you might find she's training you rather than the reverse.

Yeah. Can't have that happen. If she turns into a brat it won't matter how cute she is! Better train her while she's still small. It'll be easier than telling an adult dog to get off the furniture and not to tackle every friend they see.

It is easier to discourage bad habits when they're still young. My brother has two dogs, both spaniels. He let them sit on the furniture when they were young and now we can't persuade them off it.

Harder to undo the learned behavior than teach them the right stuff from the start huh? Makes sense! It's not fun to scold the furry child but it's a necessary evil.
