Good morning everyone!
I have a couple questions, if people are willing to answer.
The first one is somewhat personal I suppose, so please don't feel obligatedif you don't want to.
Have you, or do you know anyone, who was on the Retrospec network, forgot about it, and then remembered again?
Would you be willing to talk about what it was like? Do you remember the first time you were connected?
Do you feel any different from the first time?
Okay.
My other question is about technology. Many people have received technology from the retrospec people. A lot of it works in ways we're not really used to, or is much more advanced than anything we have here. Or is magic.
(It's not really magic.)
If you have received something like that, would you be willing to allow some of us to examine them? If we can start to figure out how they work, maybe we can start reverse engineering them, or adding them to other things we already have.
On a related note, if you are an engineer or mechanic or anything along those lines and would like to be involved in examining these things, let me know! Maybe we can organize something big here.

because that sounds like a different conversation than asking what your soul has to do with magic supposedly being better than science
no subject
is my point
magic is not science
beans are not leaves
they are very different things and any idiot with eyes and a brain can see that with those eyes and brain
I hate you and wish coffee would be thrown in your stupid face
no subject
[ so nya ]
but okay since you're such an expert
how would you decide if something's magic or not
no subject
I would use my brain
no subject
not very logical
no subject
no subject
okay
if that’s how you do it
then do you just call everything you can’t explain with logic "magic"
no subject
of course there's science I can't explain [Because look, he can't even explain his own words.] but there is stuff that's different than "can't explain"
no subject
[ he is trying to understand but it just doesn't compute ]
no subject
no subject
but you don't do anything about it?
no subject
[Even if that's accurate, it's rude to assume things about people. Listen, he's very tired when it comes to life and its mysteries.]
no subject
no subject
which is how everything you've said has sounded
no subject
just because i don't think magic is the only explanation you need?
whatever
i just don't get how someone can call something magic and be happy with that
it doesn't make sense
no subject
no subject
it's tested over and over until it's proven and you know how it works and why
magic doesn't do any of that
no subject
because magic isn't science you don't understand
magic is magic you don't understand
no subject
no subject
[pot, kettle]
no subject
you explain magic by saying it's magic and i'm the one not making sense
look we just wanted to check out some of the advanced tech retrospec's been handing out what's so wrong with that
no subject
no subject
that is literally my job
no subject
no subject
[ actually it does but he doesn't know that yet ]
