Consider that the entire poem is a person, and the lines make up that person. The capitalized words are like the organs. They pump blood through the piece, air, and make it run the way it should. They are the emotional core of the being, and the rest of the words are the skeleton that surrounds those emotional cores, protects them, supports them.

I was fine when my parents decided that they didn't love me or care about me enough to allow me to live under their roof, when they were so disgusted by my dreams and aspirations that they would rather cast me out to die on the street than accept me.

So I'm fine now.
