Berries and Updates

It's been a few days since I left the city to join the expedition, so it would be nice if you give me some few updates regarding the state of Recolle so far.

Also, I might as well use this time to wonder about the new additions from the latest reality changes.

[He then sends a picture of a basket of some berries, which it was taken a few days ago.]



By the looks of them, they seemed to be new kinds of fruits or berries. I don't know what they are, but it seems that the frog and fox Pokemon seems to enjoy them, especially my dragon, Modeste. In fact, they emptied the ones I bought a few days after I left Recolle.

I tried some of them and thankfully, they are not poisonous. Though some of them tastes a bit spicy and sour...

I think some of them might work with dessert. I tasted one that has a sweet taste similar to citrus flavor.

That might be a good idea. These berries are still unknown to me, but they seemed to be great ingredients to some desserts.

That sounds delicious though! I'd love to try some if you can bring any back. I bet they would make a good sauce or go with chocolate really good - like chili chocolate.

Not to worry. I think the green market and the grocery stores has that kind of berries available. I got them during my grocery trip.

Oh, that's definitely good. They would make some fun chocolates for valentine's, or maybe cupcakes. Oh, but, are they expensive?

Not exactly. They seemed to be in a same price as the fruits.

I understand what you mean. With Valentines Day around the corner, I can imagine how we can incorporate them into some pastry gifts.

Though now that I think about it, some of these berries looked familiar...

Like I said, they are not very poisonous to eat. Plus, you can find them at any general store and groceries around the city.

Though the only thing I am perplexed about these berries are their names and appearances similar to the berries we know.

From what I can tell, some of these berries looked like pineapples and cherries, yet they respectively called Pinap Berries and Cheri Berries...

Strange since they are named closely to their similar appearances.

To me for now. They seemed to look like some of the fruits such as oranges that are colored blue, pineapples, and blue chestnut.

I agree. Maybe you can try dipping some of the sweet berries with chocolate.

It's been a few days since I ate them and so far, I didn't feel any adverse effects.

From what I know, they seemed to be very normal just like any other fruits that doesn't have a face.

blue oranges feels all kinds of wrong
