So does anyone else have children in the memories they've been getting?

To answer my own question the woman I am in my memories has a son and then her son has three children as well.

[ So this tbh pretty young looking 41 year old is a grandmother in her memories but that's beside the point. ]

How do you feel about it? Being a grandparent must feel even stranger.

I'm too young for it, that's a thought I have if I take a step back from it all.

But there is something amazing in seeing the family resemblance in them all.

I don't remember my children, but I do remember that past me got a woman besides his wife pregnant.

Because past me was a douche.

If anything mine just makes me jealous. I'm single and she wasn't.

Honestly, I think I admire the past me in some ways.

I don't know how I'd survive something she went through, physically, mentally, or emotionally. I have the memory of it now, but it's still like an out of body experience to consider.

Now that I think about it, none of the children I had looked like me. They all looked different, too. No similarities with me or each other. But I...felt like I had to care for them. I've always wondered what that meant.

Siblings? Fostering? Adopted?

Though being single isn't the worst thing ever.
