VIDEO [Backdated to 2/15]
[ The broadcast starts with the shifting of the camera to show they’re in someone’s lovely abode. Hm. Maybe you’ll recognize some people in passing before the show starts? Once the the camera is balanced, everything comes to light.
Welcome to Mochi House Kitchen where our heroes, Akira Kurusu and Orihime Inoue, are suit up in the ugliest aprons you have ever seen. For reference, Akira is in this one and Orihime is the buff cook. ]
Hello! It’s so nice to have everyone together again. We’ve been up north for a while and we missed Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have something to show everyone our appreciation!
[ Akira doesn’t seem to get the memo that they’re recording. Thinking that she’s still practicing or whatever, he asks: ]
Hey, do you think we should use ghost peppers for a separate chocolate filling? Not in all of them, but maybe a handful.
Oh, yes! We don’t want those to go to waste.
[ Which she will actually start to place the ghost peppers with some onion and the chocolate on empty dumpling wrappers. As she folds them over carefully and sets them to the side, it should be noted that they look...almost entirely the same as the regular chocolate filled ones from the outside. ]
Stop by and try your luck today with a free stuffed penguin today! Maybe I’ll just let you do all the talking. [ Wait, this is supposed to commemorate the holiday. Whatever. ] Where did you get these aprons, anyway?
I picked them up at the thrift store! I thought we might want to dress the part if we’re cooking for everyone. They’re very unique, aren’t they? I’ve never seen anything like them before!
[ Probably for a good reason. But they're on the Valentine's Day theme, right? ]
They’re perfect.
[ Orihime smiles then turns purposefully to the camera. ]
They’ll be ready soon, so get them while they’re hot!
Wait, were you recording?
[ And then she waves and turns off the feed. ]

[ Sorry she's a wet blanket. ]

[ So Akira and Orihime may have had... very different interpretations when he pitched the idea. He's starting to learn that
they're not on the same page.
and that he may have needed to supervise her. ]

If it's a little, it should be fine, but I would also like proof. Please eat one of the spicy ones before you hand them out, so my worries may be alleviated.
[ And therefore, he must eat one for his carelessness. ]

[ COVERING HIS BASES. ]

Vlog it.

[ But he'll send her a quick video? It shows him eating the ones that he made, then downing some water right after.
Wheezing... But not dying, exactly. ]

You have my gratitude, Mr. Anti-Millennial. I would've accepted a Polaroid or VHS cassette. I know where I can find a VCR.
You've proven your cause, but I would keep a closer eye on the ones your partner makes. She's the one I was more worried about.

it would take some time for me to assemble it and send it, though. snail mail and all?
from what i know, she's usually not this adventurous, so i'm surprised. i'm making some suggestions right now.
no subject
I'm patient. I would wait for it, if you put forth the effort and dedication. There's something quaint about acting like it's 20 years ago.
I'll take your word for it. I hope she considers your suggestions. I'm not against experimentation, but there should be a certain sense of methodology to it.
no subject
all right. i'll give it a try since i do have a polaroid camera. that should take less time. i'll also send you some penguins.
suggestions don't always make it to the final product, but cross your fingers and make your prayer circles.

... I wasn't insincere, but I was jesting. I'll accept whatever you try do, however. Do you usually humor such requests?
I'll hope for the best but expect the worst. Thank you for trying regardless.
no subject
but you can still have penguins.
no problem. anything for the greater good.
no subject
If possible, I'd like a normal one without any heat to them.

[ No it doesn't. ]

Please try one of your own making before you give anyone else one.

We might have made them too cute...
no subject
They are very cute penguins. It makes what you're trying to the stuff them with even more of a contrast.
no subject
Penguins are very hardcore!
no subject
In their natural habitat, they are, but... perhaps you should attempt tame and sweet ones for the day after Valentine's Day.
no subject
We have both!

Caramelized onions are delicious, but I don't think humanity is ready for that combination. I your stomach is strong enough for that, however.... by all means.
Can you tell the difference from the outside?
no subject
Um. It's a little difficult since we used multiple dumpling wrappers to in one sitting so the penguins kept their structural integrity.
But Akira had a good idea to make little bowties! So I think we'll do that from now on.
no subject
That's a cute idea. I like it.
All concerns said, it is very generous of you to make and offer treats to the user base at large.
no subject
I like it too! He's very creative.
We're very happy to do it! Food is better when you share it with other people.
no subject
You're a very cheerful individual, aren't you?
