So, question for everyone. If you’re a magical being of some sort that supposedly blesses people, but you’re also known as a Reaper, what do you think that exactly means?

I'm actually just trying to figure out what the hell I am. By talking, I've been able to remember some things about who I used to be and what I was.

So far, I've remembered that I'm a being that brings misfortune instead of blessings.
Almost like a mutation of sorts. I'm still considered a malak or seraph, like a human would still be a human no matter their race.

Basically, this is all still a giant mess of trying to figure things out.

[ A mutation? Hm. Malak and seraph can be used interchangeably, to his understanding, but that doesn't mean they hold the same meaning somewhere else. What kind of connotations could this potentially bring, though? ]

Are we talking Book of Revelation Seraphim? Or is that just a coincidence?

Something else. Beings from my world, supposedly, that blessed the land or something.

I'm still trying to figure things out about that.

I see. So what "blessing" entails, is that part of what you're still trying to figure out?

Exactly. If it has anything to do with the fact that I have bad luck and things break around me, then that could end up being my 'blessing'.

Would you say you're someone that's always had "bad luck", or is this a recent development?

I always had bad luck, but it's gotten a lot worse recently.

Does this manifest in unfortunate things happening to you, personally, or affecting the world around you?

[coinflipped]

Before it was just happening to me, so that bad luck was likely just general bad luck.

Now it's happening all around me.

That's an unfortunate change. I'll understand if you'd rather not say, but has anyone been hurt.

Not yet, thank God.

That's good to hear. I hope it stays that way.

I doubt it, but I do hope for the same.

If "bad luck" is really something that someone can experience by affect of Retrospec, then "good luck" must exist too, right?
