So, question for everyone. If you’re a magical being of some sort that supposedly blesses people, but you’re also known as a Reaper, what do you think that exactly means?

I'm not the best business owner in the world, but sure you can. If I'm being honest, I barely break even sometimes.

A second job is the only reason I have money to spend, but it's worth it.

And what is your second job?

No, I didn't. I opened it because I traveled the world and hoarded so much crap I needed to do something with it. Selling it sounded great and I sort of got into pawning.

I also have an obsession with coins so there's that too.

As for my second job, I work at Club Sunshine as a host.

And a better thing to do than continue to horde it all or sell it on eBay.
Speaking of, do you have anything that looks haunted? I am thinking of an early present for someone.

I have never been.
But it makes sense.
You do appear to be aesthically pleasing to look at.
What an odd thing to say.
But sadly, I never really know what others consider good-looking or beautiful due to my own tastes running more to the macabre. But I acknowledge it is a possibility that you are handsome, at least.

I mean, I have items from other cultures that are considered cursed, but I promise you my shop isn't haunted.

In any case, I'll accept your compliment. I do think I'm rather good looking myself and others tell me that as well.

Hmm, it's less that I don't like it and more that I'm morbidly intrigued.

It's definitely not a culture thing, but an aesthetic that people like, as if they do find the idea of death intriguing without wanting to be near death themselves.

Like they're curious about it.

I personally don't find death beautiful, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate that some people do.

I have no curiosity about death.
No, it's merely the ugliness that intrigues and fascinates me.
What others call "ugly," anyway.
I happen to see it as "pretty."

I won't deny that humans have a curiosity towards death, but I don't.
Because it's life that is far more interesting.

But I also find life more interesting. It's why I'm having trouble grasping this Reaper idea.

Yet who I am as a Reaper and what our popular culture believes a Reaper is, I honestly think they're different. Maybe. There's still obviously a lot of things I'm unsure about.

My fault for not being clear.
I don't liken those pictures to death as you do.
I liken them to living.

Well.
Life may be interesting, but it has to end.
Nothing can go on forever.
And so, "you" get to put the final mark to a beautiful story.
I think that still makes life interesting.

I'm still not sure.

It's all confusing.

Right.
"You" put the final mark at the end.
"You" get to decide it.
For you see, it is that final mark that makes life beautiful.
Think of it as adding the last stroke to a ballad, if you would.
And so I have no fascination with death, it is just the end of a masterpiece and I would rather listen to the song.

All of that is based on the assumption I'm that kind of Reaper, unfortunately.

Though, 'to kill is to save' does sound like a pretty Reaper thing.
