You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!! There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would. Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along. Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad! i hadn't realized it was that long

it's simply better to bide our time...
though getting upset now and then over this and that with regards to it is acceptable
i've found it surprisingly therapeutic, though i can't say i would engage it in too often

somehow it wasn't
how did that happen?

we were in an underground lab that was based around human experimentation... of a kind
human-animal crossbreeds? splicing?
regardless, that sort of thing
some members of our group found food and... well, transforming into animals was a small price to pay for an actual meal
it wasn't so terrible either
aside from losing my very excellent cosplay and having to wear a basketball uniform on the station we landed at after using an escape pod to get away from a mad scientist who was quite interested in testing on us

overall? certainly, though i owe that to the make of our group rather than circumstances themselves
the end of our adventure was heralded with defeating a giant alien in space using a mechapanther that could split into smaller panthers, as well as existential dread brought on by documents found on the ship it had with it
