You know, I think some April Fool's pranks are okay! Like the silly ones they do on websites or the really good natured kind. But I am LESS okay with someone changing the ENTIRE layout of our entire building and giving us treasure maps to go around it which for the record my brother-in-law did and it's a pain!!

There's some weird effects coming in from outside this planet at the moment, although they'll mostly miss the city itself. There'll be a localized temporal storm, but it shouldn't be more than a mild irritation. It looks like it's just going to yank some things around and send them on through. I think Maurice is going to call out sick that day, or if I were him I definitely would.

Hey, I kind of want a four-leaf clover. I know that's more last month than this month, but still. If you find one, pass it along.

Also, I want to do a cutesy April Fools thing, so don't get too mad!

For the remainder of the day all users will have their userpic replaced with a picture of them dressed as their favorite animal. It's pretty harmless as far as pranks go, and it will change back either at midnight or after trying to change the picture twice, prompting an "Are you sure?" message but no further ill effects.

It's trivial in the grand scheme of things but it's certainly an annoying inconvenience. I don't understand why society won't just leave us be... and people wonder why I started stealing when I wasn't in class or at home.

It's because I'm bored when I'm away from my games. What else was a gamer supposed to do with his free time without his games?

Sleeping is boring after a while too, though... and it's hard to find a place to sleep when you're not in class and you're supposed to be.

But don't worry... skipping has been less fun as of this past month. I'm going to class more often. Probably more than I'd like to, but it's better than being bored, I guess. It's something to do.

That's one of the reasons I've started going back, though... school is a load of crap, but having to repeat a year and stay there even longer is an even bigger load of crap.
