Hi everybody! Fai here, some of you know me - but that's not important! What's important is whether you know this handsome guy in the photo!
This is my sweetheart, Mune-chan, and his birthday is early next month. So I thought maybe we could have a paintball game (match?) to celebrate, I think he'd really like that! and we can do cake and ice cream after, he wouldn't want to skip the cake part ;)
May 6 is the day! Let me know if you'd like to come, if you're a friend of his! or if you work for him, or if you kinda think he might sort of like you? that's ok too <3
Iwai's birthday is next month? Good to know! And a paintball birthday party? That sounds bloody brilliant! I'm obviously a friend of his, plus I'm his favorite customer.
[Does he remember Derek being friends with Iwai? It doesn't seem familiar, but then again the last year has been kind of a giant blur, so it's possible Fai just spaced it. So he'll roll with it. (Besides, Derek knows Sakura too, so apparently the guy's already friends with half of Fai's family??)]
You should definitely come!! But... you don't think he'd mind playing paintball when he works with that stuff all day all the time already, do you?

I mean, unless you were going up against Mune-chan, then I'd have to cheer for him LOL. Or maybe I'd just cheer in general so it applied to both of you! (◠‿◠✿)
I don't think he will mind at all! He and I occasionally hang out at the range together. He'll so enjoy it. Besides, playing with friends is what makes paintball fun.
Um. Are you sure this is a good idea? I know he said he hadn't had a party before, when I had mine, but I remember him mentioning he'd prefer something smaller, like dinner or something?
Not that paintball can't be fun! I just wouldn't want him to be overwhelmed if a lot of people come?
...actually, would you be willing to help me set things up? You don't have to if you don't want to, but I really don't know anything about paintball and I want things to be perfect for him!
Don't worry Sakura-chan, I don't think we'll end up with a ton of people like your party! Mune-chan is a sweetheart but he's also kind of a hermit, so I don't think we have to worry about half of Retrospec claiming to be his best friend ;)
Half? Well. I guess. I just hope he enjoys it and has fun. I haven't actually done paintball before, but I get the idea? I think. You shoot the paint at your friends on the other team or something, right?
Exactly! I know everyone needs a gun (obviously) and I'm guessing you wear something to protect yourself, but... I wouldn't have the first idea what to get for everyone, and I can't exactly ask Mune-chan! He'd catch on to me in a heartbeat LOL
...is there even anywhere else in town to rent things from, so he doesn't realize what's going on?

[Granted, Fai is dating him and knows his tastes better than Xiaolang does (and tbh, Xiaolang doesn't even know where he WORKS), but it seemed like a rowdy sort of event for someone as serious as he was...]

I always thought he was a mechanic of some sort. He's always working in your garage, so I assumed that was the sort of thing he specialized in. Would he be alright closing up shop just for his birthday, though?
You can rent from the range where we are playing. The quality of the gear just won't be the best, but it will work. It's like the difference between renting bowling shoes and bringing your own.
I wonder if others would be new to it too. I mean I guess I get the idea. But it could be fun! And learning together will make it not so daunting?
[In the way trying anything new could be. Though she seems more curious and excited than anything else, mostly because it was something fun to try with those she cares about.]
