I know there's a lot of us on the network, so this might get a lot of different ideas, but that's okay! We could make a list! But um. I was wondering, about where others might go, what you might do for a date with someone? Though I guess that might depend on the person, what they like doing, probably?

I haven't done this before, so. I'm trying to come up with some ideas. Of where to go together or what to do. So if anyone else has any ideas, that could help us decide! I mean, most of you are older, so you probably have more experience with this sort of thing, at least.

[Yes. That's right. Xiaolang finally confessed to her and she realized she returned his feelings, so. These two middle-schoolers are together now. It only took however many months at this point.]

Of course I don't mind! I can make a list and we can use that to help us decide? Or, what we want to do first, at least?

[She doesn't even notice the flustered state she has him in, not over the phone like this at least. But she does seem excited by him agreeing all the same.]

[For as red and embarrassed as he is right now, he can't help the small, happy smile that curves across his lips as he reads her message, her excitement over all of this making a warmth spread through his chest. She was so eager to do all of this, just to spend time with him.]

That could be good. A lot of the stuff people have suggested sounded interesting so far, so putting it all in one spot and narrowing down what we really want to do will make things easier.

[Granted, he'd probably just go with whatever Sakura was most interested in, since it was her idea and all. He was fine with just about anything if it meant getting to spend the day with her and seeing her be happy.]

Right! Making a list of it and then we can decide from there what to do or what to do first sounds like a good idea. Then it'd just be figuring how much it might be, or when to go.

[She agrees, giving a nod even if they were texting each other. This was going to be fun! And with this list, they had a whole lot of ideas to try out!]

The weekend would probably be the best time to go, for whatever we wind up choosing. Maybe a Saturday over a Sunday?

[So they wouldn't have to cut their date short to worry about homework, or having to wake up early the next morning. Not that they were going to be staying out even REMOTELY late, but...]

Ah... you don't need to worry about the cost, though. I'll cover whatever it comes up to, so we don't need to focus on that so much.

[Because that's the gentlemanly thing to do, after all!! Not to mention he filthy rich and has a good sized allowance, so this wouldn't exactly hurt his wallet.]

Saturday would give us more time then on Sunday to do our homework? Unless we decided to do that first on Saturday and go do something fun on Sunday.

But are you sure? I can help pay for it too.

[This sort of thing is what her work covers in her doing something fun? Especially now she wasn't stressing on contributing towards bills or food.]

[Since she's already going through all this effort thinking of a cute date for them and everything!!]

... that's a good point about the homework, though. It'd be a better idea to have that squared away so we don't have to worry about it when we're out. Though certain places aren't open on Sundays, so...

Is there anything anyone suggested yet that sounds really good to you?

But that's a good point. I guess it depends, if places are open which days. But that depends where we wanted to go. I liked the sound of the zoo or a picnic though? I'm making a list so we can go through that and see which we like most.

If that's something you don't mind doing. But you don't have to worrying about paying for me if you don't want to.

[He doesn't want her to waste her hard-earned work money on him, after all!! He'd rather she spend it on something she likes instead!]

But those sound like they could be nice. Maybe we can do both of those on the same day? We'd have to stop for lunch at some point, anyway.

Take some snacks to the zoo and eat there? If that's allowed. I think they do also have some food options there too?

But otherwise, there was the petting zoo or a movie mentioned.

They're usually in or near some sort of park, right? I haven't been to the zoo here yet in Recolle, but the one I went to back in Hong Kong was in a botanical garden, so maybe it's the same. Worst case scenario, we can probably just eat in their food section, but... bringing snacks to share wouldn't be so bad.

[And he could maybe make some Japanese recipes he's been practicing for her to try? Or some more traditional Hong Kong treats, anyway.]

They wind up having petting zoos at normal zoos, so we might do that if we go there, but... were there any movies out that you wanted to see?

[Since depending on how new or old it was, they could do always do that first so they wouldn't have to miss it while it was in theaters.]

I guess that's something we could
check beforehand. If there's space for having a picnic or we take extra money for lunch to get something there.

I can check what's showing at the cinemas and we can decide?

After a couple of minutes of searching through the Flix showtimes, he responds back:]

There's that new super-hero movie out... Infinity Conquest? There's also an animated one about a mermaid girl who becomes friends with a musician. The rest of the stuff we can't really go to, though...

[And even the Avengers knock-off seemed risky since it was PG-13 and all ~~never mind they're both older than 13, but still~~]

You do? I don't go enough to have the app, but one of my friends usually does, or we check in advance if we want to see something in the weekend.

Infinity Conquest? Oh! Mermaids! That sounds cute! But I guess that's true. We do need to check the ratings to figure which we can see or not.

I don't really go very often myself, but it does make it a lot faster than pulling it up on the computer. It's usually for something Leon wants to see, but I do go on my own sometimes too.

[Which is... kind of sad to admit, going to movies by himself and all, but he never really had much of a friend group to go with in the first place.

But Sakura's enthusiasm about the mermaids is promising, so he latches onto that.]

We could see that one, if you want? It has a lower rating compared to the super hero one. I think you have to have seen some of the other ones in that series to know what's going on, anyway.

[Not that he assumes Sakura hasn't, but he certainly missed out on a lot of them. The language rating on those things.....]

But we can always wait for another weekend to see something, too. I don't know if there were any coming out that you'd rather go to instead.

On your own? That isn't lonely? I mean, I guess if none of your friends want to see that movie specifically, and you don't want to wait for it to come out on blu ray, but still.

It's alright. I mean, the mermaid one sounds like fun!

[She isn't even questioning this. On how he seems to automatically assume there's going to be more. More dates, more movies. Not that that seems in question at all given how excited and flustered they are right now on this, how they were in their memories together, but even so.]

It's not that bad. I don't really mind it or anything. It makes it easier to focus on the movie sometimes. And I... never really had anyone I wanted to go with, either.

But if Sakura doesn't catch onto him assuming there'd be more dates, he definitely does himself, and he blushes furiously as he makes that realization. Shoot. He was getting so into planning all of this with her, that he completely forgot that they had to actually... see how the first one would go before anything else. Not that he thinks he'd have a bad time (he'd be happy just picking up trash with her, really), but that didn't mean it'd be the same for her. ~~Never mind she's the one asking him on the date and putting all of this together~~]

I guess it depends on whether you want to do the zoo or the movie more. Both of them sound good, and you're the one compiling ideas, so I don't mind going with what you like best. And whatever we don't pick, we can do a different time instead

I guess that's true. If the other friend is used to talking or asking questions. That can make it a little more difficult to concentrate.

How about we check what other films are coming out a little later and see which we want to go for? Then if it's one that isn't out yet, we can try the zoo now and go to the movie later!

[LOOK, it's only been a couple of weeks, and he's still wondering if he's in some sort of dream, because ??? Sakura likes him back?? And they're planning a bunch of dates together?? It feels way too good to be true at times, and it's going to take him a while to get fully used to it.]

There is that other animated movie coming out... Spectaculars 2, I think? The one about the superhero family. I don't know if you saw the first one, but it comes out in June, so that could give us time to plan for that and do the zoo and other things in the meantime.

I think I saw the first. Though that was a while ago. It couldn't hurt to watch that again before seeing the sequel.

I mean. Of course I want to do other things with you! That's why we're making a whole list of ideas!

In that case... did you want to watch the first movie together before that? I haven't seen that one in a while either, so it'd be good to rewatch it together so we're on the same page.

Sure! Like I said, it has been a while since I saw the first. I can check if we have it, or we can find it somewhere and watch it together!

[After school one Friday maybe? Or over a weekend. Either way, it would be good to refresh on the first, before seeing the second film in the series.]

I think Webflix might? Leon can get it on his Gamestation 4, and we have an account, so that will probably be easier than digging up any DVDs or renting it somewhere else.

I have to ask him if it's okay to use it though, since he plays on it a lot. But we can sort of make it a movie night? If there's anything else on Webflix you want to see, too.

[Depending on when classes end and how often they'd need to go back for graduation practice and such, they could even probably do it on a weeknight too?? Summer was going to expand the realm of things they could do ten-fold, for sure.]

We can check, that seems like a good idea if it is on Webflix then! I'm sure if we check with him on when would be okay for us to use it for a bit, he wouldn't mind. Maybe he can watch with us if he wants.

[Or they could watch it while he was busy out studying or working or with friends? Or something like that.]
