LISTEN UP. Retrospec can read this all they like, I don't care. their cameras were trained on me the entire time I combed through their office anyway. they INVITED me there. so here I am, putting my findings out here so that all users can access it. you can respond helpfully, or cower behind your phones in silence, and to what end? Retrospec already knows about your precious secrets. or have you gnats forgotten that already??

give me evidence that you know them, and we can talk more. don't waste my time with "OOOH I MET THEM ONCE"s if there's no substance. a single detail about their history will suffice as proof.

and since I expect the lot of you to share any information you find in the future, in this fashion... what the REST of you need to know is that I found files on these people in an unlocked room in the Retrospec building. apparently some of these people were once Retrospec users, but for some reason they're not anymore. (you can extend your gratitude to Dave for sorting through all of your nonsense to locate posts by these people.) these files documented their personal histories. DETAILED, by the way. are they accurate? that's what I'm trying to figure out.

the only theory I have grounded in realism... asking around. somebody acquainted with you, your family, your friends... somebody like that collecting data and funneling it accordingly, no matter how insignificant it seems. but is there somebody we all have in common like that? unless we're all spying on each other.

in other words, that's why I was willing to entertain your ridiculous, reaching thought. there's no certainty, not yet.

well you said it yourself, that some of the secrets they were broadcasting were things they had no conceivable way of knowing

mine they only could've known if they were there with me the moment it happened, and i know for a FACT i was alone or i would've been busted, big time

but that's what I said, yes, and that's what I meant. but it's still the only somewhat passable realistic scenario I can come up with. not that I buy it, since it still fails to address things like knowing the unknowable. standstill it is.
