hey so quick question how do I explain why I bleed ink to my boyfriend -yes he's already seen it -I was cutting up vegetables and scratched a finger -it'd be great if someone could give advice relatively soon because I don't know how long 'I need to lie down and then I'll talk to you about it' will work, he's still panicking he's just not demanding an answer right this second thanks for the help

Covering it up, though, may hurt him more. Trying to cover up who you are is not being honest with yourself either. What is normal for one person, may not be what's normal for another, so in reality...it's not really something that should be considered....

Plus, if you're dishonest, it's possible you could lose him. You don't want that, right?

Of course I don't want that! I would never want that in a million years! But I'm scared if I tell him too much about things he forgot about while everything is broken and weird that I might hurt him!

hm...even if he forgot or had some amnesia, i feel that maybe you should still try to explain the truth to him. something that may help you is writing down what you'd like to say. it will gather your thoughts!

Have you ever tried to explain Retrospec to someone who didn't have it? Before the layers collapsed, I mean. When things were what passes for normal these days. I'll write it down, though, that's good advice.

hm, i suppose that's a good point, so it's hard to make a decision that way. normal is a hard thing to define too.

i know that when i write things down, it helps me clear my thoughts and gives me time to calm down. i get nervous sometimes so when i have a clear headspace, i can think a little better! if you want me to read over it or help, i can!

i am currently in school to study language and game creation. i'd like to make my own game someday! i also work at my family's game shop.

That's pretty cool. Are you more interested in making board games or video games?

both, actually, but I enjoy board games more!

with writing, is there a genre that you enjoy more?

I'm pretty well-rounded. My first novel was science fiction, but before that I've published short stories in the genres of mystery and horror.

do you have a book out? i'd love to read something other then textbooks, that's for sure.
