What would a fashion student want with it, though? I mean, I think it's handmade, but aside from that, I'm not sure what they could study from it.

I don't know. Don't fashion people like clothes? And his designs are... different.

I can't say. I don't think I know any people who are into fashion myself. I guess he can look at how it's constructed, and get some ideas from there? It looks really intricate, but I can definitely tell it's handmade.

Just how different are his designs, though?

Why did you let him do that in the first place?

He fixed my destroyed childhood teddy bear my cat and owl destroyed quite a few months ago. I owed him.

Was the bear really that important to you, though?

[Despite how the text may read, Xiaolang isn't really judging him for it. Surprised, yes, since Derek didn't seem like the type to put sentimental value in these things, but if this whole Retrospec thing has taught him, teddy bears can be Very Important.]

Yes. It's the only thing I have that is from my birth parents. My birth parents and I were in a car accident when I was four. I was the only survivor. The bear is the only thing I have left of them. I don't even have memories of them because I hit my head and got amnesia. I can't remember anything from before I woke up in the hospital.
