With the situation of the city being what it is, I would like to offer my services.

This is not the services of a chef, but rather, I have recently acquired the ability to heal. I certainly hope that everyone would be willing to remain safe on their own, but if not, well, I would not want anyone to feel like they are without options.

We do not know how long this will last and so I can only offer what comfort I can.

Sounds like it might come with some consequences, then.

The consequence is a moment of pain. The moment lasts for as long as the soul is touched and then fades as soon as it is not. If a person can endure it, they will be healed miraculously.

A moment of pain, huh.

I suppose that makes sense if the soul doesn't like being touched. I suppose more pain to heal pain is kind of worth it.

That's right.

And I agree. There is no procedure that exists to heal that doesn't cause some momentary discomfort anyway. I suppose it's only fair that my ability come with the same unfortunate truth.

The most people can do a lot of the time is dull the pain when doing the healing. Like they do that in surgeries and sometimes when you go to the dentist.

But even if the truth is unfortunate, I still don't think it's a bad thing if you can help other people with it.

I also don't think that that it is a bad thing. I would consider it a necessary evil if I must consider it something.

Though, if I am honest, I was more conflicted about the idea of touching the soul of a person than the pain my healing caused. I do not feel I've done anything to warrant that right.

However, this is the only healing that has been given to me. There is nothing else I have. But nevermind that, Mio Sonozaki. I am merely prattling on about an old concern of mine.

Well, I think that as long as you're honest about it and have permission, I don't see how there's a problem. Even if you might not be suitable, there's definitely something to be said about being able to help others.

It's better than what a lot people can do, I guess.

So I've come to understand.

The healing that I've acquired appears to be head and shoulders above others. And you are right, so long as I am honest and let the person understand the choices before them, there can be little sin in helping.

See? That's the spirit! Look on the positive side! ☆

Certainly not something that I've been accused of, but I've been attempting to be positive from time to time.

That said, this is only a precaution. Please don't take this as a green-light to do anything too dangerous.

Well, that is a relief to hear. There are a few too many that do dangerous things for the sake of this city and others.

If you know any, try to keep them out of trouble.

I totally understand... I mean, there are things I want to do to help this city out, but I have limits.

I'll watch over the crazy ones I'm close to, at least.

I appreciate it. I have my own to watch over, as well.

But still, with the city empty like this, it does not seem like they should get into too much trouble. So we can both hope.
