To the new app users, how are you?

I offer condolences for the chaos of this month. But as troubling as trouble is, I am certain that there are those that came to your aid.

Those that exist on this app are those that care deeply about people. You can call us bleeding hearts, and that would be accurate. [ For some. ]

But as this month draws to a close, I feel some congratulations are in order. So, congratulations, young men and women. Hopefully, through the trials that you have faced, you've come to feel closer to the people that were once strangers to you and have made some friends.

And I'm certain that someone has explained regains to you all by now, but please keep in mind that you are still you. Your choices are still your choices. Your life is still your life. You can decide what path you wish to walk on, and which path you do not, at any time.

Those are my feelings, at least, as heavy-handed and pretentious as they may sound. Please consider them my way of showing support. :)

And not necessarily. :) This is just about you specifically and your thoughts. As I said, it's good to really think on who is your ally and who is your enemy. I consider that much different than who is your friend and who you don't want to know.

Anyway, yes, I consider my allies are people that I side with, but I don't trust. We merely are working toward the same goal.

Huh. I guess that makes a lot of sense, even if it does sound kinda depressing.

I feel I already know the answer, but why do you think it's depressing?

I just kinda think that we're the only people we have. I mean, even before all this layer stuff this month made that literal.

Serious? I just... think it's lonely to try and push people out when we only have so many who are gonna understand us anyway.

Very serious. I thought that you would say it is sad to not trust in someone that I am willing to ally myself with, not that these people are who we have left and that it is a lonely thought that I do not let people in.

I thought you would feel sorry for the people rather than for me.

Still, I would feel much sorrier for the people than for a person such as myself. :)

Is that something to do with your post about our other selves? If you were a supervillain, I'm really sorry if past me beat you up.

This doesn't have to do anything about my other self. I'm talking purely about myself, Kara Lee. I'm not a very responsible adult, and tend to advocate a person live as selfishly as they please. I can't say I'm a very good influence to anyone, regardless of what others may say.

But I wasn't a supervillain, so I do not believe you ever beat me up. Still, do I come off as a supervillain type?

That's a relief. I didn't think supervillains used that many emoji, but I guess there's probably one out there who would.

Sure! I mean, I got all these powers when I landed on Earth, or at least I think I didn't have them before. And my baby cousin was an adult and the most celebrated super ever. I couldn't not go to a super school.

Sorry! Wormhole. Got to Earth late, still the same age, everyone else was older. Almost everyone. I guess Kara Ellis was still the same, though I don't remember her yet.
