To the new app users, how are you?

I offer condolences for the chaos of this month. But as troubling as trouble is, I am certain that there are those that came to your aid.

Those that exist on this app are those that care deeply about people. You can call us bleeding hearts, and that would be accurate. [ For some. ]

But as this month draws to a close, I feel some congratulations are in order. So, congratulations, young men and women. Hopefully, through the trials that you have faced, you've come to feel closer to the people that were once strangers to you and have made some friends.

And I'm certain that someone has explained regains to you all by now, but please keep in mind that you are still you. Your choices are still your choices. Your life is still your life. You can decide what path you wish to walk on, and which path you do not, at any time.

Those are my feelings, at least, as heavy-handed and pretentious as they may sound. Please consider them my way of showing support. :)

Is that something to do with your post about our other selves? If you were a supervillain, I'm really sorry if past me beat you up.

This doesn't have to do anything about my other self. I'm talking purely about myself, Kara Lee. I'm not a very responsible adult, and tend to advocate a person live as selfishly as they please. I can't say I'm a very good influence to anyone, regardless of what others may say.

But I wasn't a supervillain, so I do not believe you ever beat me up. Still, do I come off as a supervillain type?

That's a relief. I didn't think supervillains used that many emoji, but I guess there's probably one out there who would.

Sure! I mean, I got all these powers when I landed on Earth, or at least I think I didn't have them before. And my baby cousin was an adult and the most celebrated super ever. I couldn't not go to a super school.

Sorry! Wormhole. Got to Earth late, still the same age, everyone else was older. Almost everyone. I guess Kara Ellis was still the same, though I don't remember her yet.

I know Kara, actually. I had thought you might be her little sister, but I did not want to presume. [ Canned laughter. Oh wait, she can't hear it. ]

But I digress a little. A wormhole, huh? And not yet remembering Kara? Interesting.

Yeah, I guess I am, huh? We were related in the other world, too. We remember all the same people back on Krypton.

That certainly must be a nice feeling. No matter what, you once more found your family.

Yeah... kinda amazing. It's nice, even if it's super weird. Just having something that you didn't think existed before.

Allow me to tangent a little. We are never really alone, Kara Lee. The world and humanity is made up of numbers, and those numbers find their people eventually. No matter what it would have come to exist for you. Even if we become the only people left, even if Kara did not exist, it would come to exist for you.

At the very least, never doubt the inherent goodness that humanity has.

You know... you're probably right. Thanks a lot. That really does make sense. I mean, I don't get the magnetic number stuff, but people being good, that makes sense.

That's right. Humans are capable of seeing evil and good, yet most choose good. No one ever says that they accidentally started doing good deeds, or that before they knew it they had helped someone out. It's all decisions made when they could have chosen otherwise.

Yeah, you're right. So we just need to keep working together and we'll all be okay! I hope, anyway.

Yes. Hope is what pushes us all forward.
