[Nui's room, where she happens to be sitting for this video recording, is very colorful. In fact, it looks like someone has spent some time meticulously recoloring everything in the space, from walls to furniture to decor. If you were looking for pink, it's back in style. Many shades of it. And they're all here, colored in with precision and artistry and fine craft.

Nui is leaning one elbow on her freshly-restored desk, chin in one hand. In the other, she twirls a sewing needle.]

So...fashion, huh? Everyone getting together to show off their talents just warms my little bleeding heart! But fashion isn't always so easy, you know! In fact, sometimes fashion is the cruelest monarch around! Sometimes, it's way more...cutthroat, yeah!

[She flicks the needle away, but somehow it ends up lodged in a strawberry-shaped pincushion anyway.] I~ have~ a~ challenge~ for you!

These? [Nui shakes the jar a little bit.] I'm pretty sure they're some from 2015 summer release... [And therefore very out of season, so he probably shouldn't like them so much...] If you really like them I'm sure I could be convinced to part with a few!

You're pretty clever! But do you think that shoulder buttons really match the flapper aesthetic?

[He beams at her.]

I do like them! [Look, the only fashion he's somewhat into is steampunk and victorian stuff. Out of fashion isn't really a concept he's come to grasp quite yet.] So what you're saying is I should try and make you an offer you can't refuse?

[He preens a little bit at her calling him clever, beaming even more brightly, but turns more thoughtful as he consider her question with a considerable amount of concentration.]

Um, not if shoulder buttons mean what google tells me? I was thinking more along the shoulder strap rather than across it. Which I think could work? Or at least I've seen flapper dresses with some kind of decoration along there and the style in general seems like it can get a bit out there from time to time. So why not?
