Ah yeah... I might end up having to do that too. Like, this semester I'm kind of getting away with it because only one of my classes checks attendance, but between Retrospec nonsense in general and my lack of a physical presence, it might be time to... throw in the towel. At least for a while.
It's not your planning ability I doubt, so much as the human decency of your managers! But it's great that you're able to make it work.
