Well, this is pretty nerve-wracking, but I finally uploaded some music I composed. It's just four songs, between college and everything happening in Retrospec, I've been, well, pretty busy this year. But I hope to compose more soon!

Anyway... you can listen to them here. Please enjoy them.

And in less good news ... I had a rather troubling conversation with a ghost...

According to him, our Earth isn't what it seems. Apparently, while Recolle's real and stable, the rest of the world is actually a recreation of other Earths. It was made to be a centralized hub for planets across the galaxy that were destroyed, and Recolle's essentially the capital. It was all formed and balanced from the soul energy being generated by this city and the people here, and it's not exactly stable.

Good news, all the people outside of Recolle in this world are real, so it's not like our lives were fake. But bad news, if anything should happen to Recolle, the rest of the world would disintegrate. So...no pressure?

Oh, and has anyone heard anything about a river of souls beneath Recolle? A friend heard about it from another ghost, but we don't know much.

Sorry for all the troubling news. This isn't how I expected this post to go.

Check with Tatsuma. A few people have found that river of souls before, through the subway. It's there, but Retrospec didn't know about it. I had to tell Zee about it.

Tatsuma? Okay, I've talked to him before...I'll try asking about it.

Wait, Retrospec didn't know? How is that possible? I thought they knew way more about this city than we do.

They know more, but not everything. Something I've been guessing for a while.

I know a few other people who have run into the place, but Tatsuma's the one with the knowhow to maybe do something about it.

That...makes sense, but it's still pretty troubling to think about.

Oh wow, if there is something that could be done- that'd be really good. I hate thinking about all those souls trapped down there.

If there's a time where we'd have a chance at it, maybe it would be now. In the middle of all these celebrations of the sending on of the dead. The candles and lanterns lit up for everyone else.

Somebody has to have the ability to change it, don't they? I know too many powerhouses, nobody with psychic or spiritual abilities.

That's true...there might be more powerful to send them to the afterlife, however that works.

Me too. The only person I can think of is Li-Na- she mentioned her other self was an Exorcist. Though her power seems to be boots that make her fly really fast ... not sure how they'd be applied in this situation.

What do you think about the first part of what you said, though? Our lives are still real. That I've never doubted. So then why are we the ones who have to have these lost souls attached to us?

That's...a good question. I'm not sure there'll ever be a clear answer on that. I mean, there is a chance that everyone in this world is a reincarnated soul from another place, they just haven't...realized yet?

I'm not sure, honestly.

I don't know too much about it myself, but I've seen it.

Back in February when some people went off to the four regions for the first time, the Mayor and a bunch of other important city officials were kidnapped. When we finally found them, we had to cross the river.

Hands would reach out and grab you if you got too close. And if you fell in, you forget things. It wasn't permanent at least, as the guy who fell in remembered who he was once we got out of there. It was a trip to say the least.

We got to it through the subway, but the tunnel was gone when I went back afterwards.

I think I remember hearing something about the Mayor being kidnapped, but I was in Bosuma when it happened. That all...sounds really creepy.

Did he forget everything? Or just his memories from his other life?

He basically remembered who he was, but he forgot why we were even down there, and he forgot everything about his other life. Which would have been kind of useful as we had to then fight our way past some monsters. He wasn't a tank or anything, but every little bit helps, you know?

I'm glad, this means Mary and the rest of the family is really out there living their lives. With some people waking up with mismatched memories and all the trouble contacting people out of the city I was starting to worry.

Though...sounds like it won't be easy to get to, if the tunnel's gone missing. Really wish that'd stop happening in this city.

I was a little worried about that too, so it's nice to know the people are real. Not sure what to make about everything else being a recreation, but... I can deal with that better than the people back home not being real.

That was the first one I wrote when I moved to Recolle. I was getting more familiar with jazz at the time, so I guess it rubbed off!
