I know because the keys in question were still in others' hands around the times of both of his "deaths"... meaning that the breaking of that seal had to have occurred sometime afterward, even if the hows and the whys haven't been exactly revealed to me just yet.

And I should imagine that you would be especially wary now that you know what it's like. How in the world was your other self able to survive something like that? More magic?
