When I remembered who I was I broke into her house in Bosuma, but didn't find her. Just her notes

Sounds like that might be Bosuma's thing.

The brain was stealing a bunch of shit from me. And I had to sacrifice something to get into the lab. Since the brain's dead, maybe it can't steal stuff from people anymore.

The Witch's notes didn't talk about Vanderweele or layers, but they mentioned something about science overwriting her spells. Didn't go into detail after that.
