Status report from the field teams? Same for the rescue teams. We have people out in both locations and from where I'm sitting you guys are moving pretty fast.

The layer itself isn't at a risk of collapsing just yet, but I don't really want to take a bunch of chances.

Also my office has since been taken over by Whistler's Mother and I can't get her to leave, so it looks like I'm temporarily moving. Again. Anybody else having this problem?

Report to me with anything you need. The map on my system's filling out as much as it can, but I feel like I'm missing pieces.

Keep each other posted. Oh, and heads up? Looks like tech had one more batch of testers they were going to bring in, so...if you see anybody new? Try and get them up to speed.

I mean, if you are having trouble getting people to leave, I could always magically move them out. I've had to resort to that on occasion when the people you've asked us to help evacuate become violent.

What in the world? You're out there trying to evacuate them to safety. Why would they get violent?

Because they are irrational when someones tries to tell them (OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF THEIR HEART!) to leave their homes or they will be in danger. But NOOOOOO, the decide to THROW CHAIRS AND OTHER THINGS at me.

Is it possibly they didn't believe you because of the whole layer thing? Even if they live out in Magatus, they aren't on the same layer as us.

Though throwing objects at you is a bit much.

So I had to be a bit more persuasive by other means.

But everyone was moved out safely, right?

Eventually. Probably not willingly, but they got moved.

I kind of understand their reluctance to move though. It's hard to get uprooted suddenly. Especially if you have no idea if you'll be able to go back.

For me personally, no. But there's always someone when an evacuation is called for that says his father never left, and his father never left, and his father never left...

You're lucky you weren't dealing with it... though if they threw a chair at you, you could have just kicked it out of existence.

You know what I mean, you'd destroy that chair so much no one would be able to sit on it.

Well, I'd prefer to not have to destroy someone's personal property. But yes. If they kept swinging, I'd probably kick it to the other side of the mountain.

How would you have gotten them on the bus? Just out of curiosity.

Bribed them with coffee? Or gone and found others who were more receptive to being warned, then come back later to see if the stubborn person had changed their mind.

Li-Na, I highly doubt a person who is throwing chairs will be bribed onto a bus with coffee.

It cannot possibly be that simple.
