retrospec | (no subject)

Three options for you.

1.) We test the timelines based on the ideas of people who went backwards and checked into things. You know who you are. Like I said before, we have three tries to check to try and improve the situation.

2.) We just charge straight ahead and hope for the best.

3.) We actually come up with a plan with volunteer basis, split you guys into groups, and proceed from there.

As I've mentioned, Mr. Murdock raised a proposition of having volunteers for the Retrospec project to prove themselves to Vanderweele and get him to back off the project. Mr. Togusa changed the contract in the past that Retrospec will go public, more or less, when the first world has reached full completion. Ms...Anna (Anna it's too weird to call you by something proper) has volunteered herself to jump forward to a degree where she's regained her abilities, powers, and strength.

So if you see double, don't be alarmed.

Here's the thing. No matter what path we take, it's always been the same. The end has always been about stopping Vanderweele's influence over the city and shutting down his power. While there are a lot of ways we can do that, it's always been that ultimate goal to get the city back to what it was. Release people memories. Adjust everything. All that. The pieces of the puzzle finally fell into place to give us a clue of what we're supposed to do here.

Under the ocean there's a base in a trench hidden away. The further you go, the less the water appears. It's displaced, but the pressure of the ocean itself might kill you before you get down there unless we loosen the binds.

We have two objectives here: destroy the eye that's feeding his defenses in the city, and destroy the base in the ocean to siphon his power out and stop what's been started.

Pick a side. Once you know your strengths and weaknesses, we'll have a better sense of how to attack and take him by surprise.

Got it?

Fixing the city? That's "finishing" its regrowth. And taking away his power means sending memories and energy back to where it belongs.

This is going to be the last thing I'll ask of you guys. So...think on that.

Not exactly sure, but whatever it is, it should be done with our own hands without losing everything we gained from all the shit.

I have a powerful fire spell that I haven't used yet, I don't think I would feel comfortable using it in the presence of an illusionist, so, I guess maybe take a shot at the eyeball thing?

I should be able to fly at some point...hopefully sooner rather than later.

Depending on what the volunteer thing is, I might sign up, but taking Vanderweele down, making sure we can live and...I suppose the project must go on.

Who knows how much good the project can ultimately bring, even if there are bumps on the way.

Do you even have the ability too control the fire spell you haven't used yet? I've seen you loose control. I don't want you hurting yourself.

Won't know until I try...

But if this might be the final battle, those defences need to come down, and as far as I know, no one else has that much raw firepower up their sleeve.

When I go after it, can you be near by? I have a lot more control of my flames since then...and you could heal me with fire if I go too far

Or maybe we can practice it somewhere beforehand?

[It takes Al a while to actually type the request...they have their rough patches sure, but, they fought side by side too, that's worth something, isn't it?]

If you need to practice, I would rather me be there to observe you. And to make sure people stay away. Especially anyone not on the app. Seeing your magic will probably alarm them.

How how about something in the city? The beach, away from where people normally congregate?

I was thinking more of finishing off a building I left standing far away from the village, but, beach sounds more conveinent.

You also have to think about what if I can't fully heal you? I have to get you to a hospital. You got to think about safety for others and yourself.

With all my powers growing, I am sort of assuming healing with fire also has gone stronger.

But, if I'm wrong on that, or if the same trick doesn't work because of something super serious...

is it possible for you to use the same teleporting magic when we fought Judar to get to a hospital?

Apparating is really tricky, and I don't feel comfortable sliding you along if you are injured. You might splinch (leaving a part of you behind.)

Look, I can probably do some basic first aid magic if anything, enough for you to survive to the hospital. Hopefully with no one really noticing and wondering what the heck is going on.

Well crap, I was buying magic pepsi blue off him regularly and had some for emergencies.

But, this time we can prepare for it, your first aid magic, some of Elliot's magic pepsi blue on stand by, all that should give me a good fighting chance if the worst happens.

Or, you could learn to be more careful and stop being reckless.

You still need to be conscience of yourself and your powers, even when I'm around to try and help you control it. I can't be around all the time.

I know...just trying to get better at not shutting everyone out.
