Everyone - there's something important I need to share with you.

I took the time to explore the back rooms of the history museum on my break. I found some old brochures under the cabinets and other things, but I also found a crack in the wall.

I went in to investigate an hour ago. I don't know about anywhere else in the city, but this isn't normal. It looked like I had walked into space or some sort of dreamscape, only...this was real. I tried to find where it lead, but I ended up seeing some sort of video recording. Or memory. I can't tell.

Anyway, everything went black and I woke up here. I'm fine, but that video is now on my phone. I'll share it with you.

They may or may not recognize the man in the video as one of the founders of the city, and the city's first mayor, giving his acceptance speech and making promises of industrializing the city to make it into something big and beautiful. The crowd for the most part seems to be into it, but if they watch closely enough they will see there are several people in the crowd who aren't happy with this agenda. They appear to be farmers and laborers, some of the first settlers and families in the city.]

You can see this, right? It looks to be real from what I can tell.

But that would involved time travel. Changing fruit and horses is one thing, but inventing video cameras over a hundred years earlier? That's an entirely different thing.

but why is time travel less plausible than reality warping
not trying to be a problem child or judgey or anything im genuinely wondering what the diff is here
they both seem like crazy ass things to me and i figure however theyre doing the first
is probably related to however theyre doing the second

I'm saying that changing reality in the present and brainwashing people to think it was always this way is different from actually going back in time.

Unless they already affect the timeline by making these changes. In that case, their power is all about time manipulation.

What I'm saying is either they have one special power to do everything or have different approaches for different things.

though one power is possible and we just dont see how it works out yet

i dont think its a reality warper this time
since we tend to notice those
and i refuse to have that pattern be broken or were just drowning anyway

They could surprise us. After all this, I think nothing is out of their grasp.

Funny that it's only been a few days and I'm already accepting that this is life now.

Is it this hectic all the time?

i mean
the past few months have in comparison been pretty peaceful
memories and bullshit powers aside
like
nothing has been super DANGEROUS
which i guess we can no longer rely on

I joined at such a wonderful time.
I'd take the fruit over living like this for the rest of my life.
Or those memories people keep talking about.

its hard to speculate until the first few like ive said before to people

mostly onions
