Did anyone else receive a strange survey from Retrospec today, asking what we would most like to have brought back? I am being absolutely serious. I just received one from that morceau de merde, Jim. I cannot even begin to decide what to think about this. Are they polling us now? As if we have any say in the matter?

Even if he counts these votes and it matters, it's still trolling. No question in my mind either. I don't trust it either, but I still voted for Blue to come back.

I see no reason not to vote that way at the least. And, honestly, it's more pressing than the fruit.

what i don’t get is why he’d only send it to you and not all of us
he’s never targeted any one of us for his crap before

well i mean blue is just a color so i don’t really see the big deal
it’s weird and shouldn’t be impossible but it’s not affecting much except turning things gray

That confuses me too. It's like it was completely random. I'm hardly important, and I haven't done anything worth noting. It was almost like he pulled a name out of a hat.

So long as the plants continue to grow while gray, it's not a big deal. I'm not sure on that yet.

if this is anything like the dancing fruit it might not make a difference
i mean, they still tasted like regular apples even though they gave you that creepy smile and a pre-snack performance

I suspect as much, yes. It's probably "Harmless," but I don't dare assume until we know for sure.

It won't take long. There are plants that need sunlight regularly out there I can use to test it. They wilt much more quickly.

as far as i can tell the sun is still working normally so i don't think it'll be a big deal really

but i wonder if this is only going to last a few days like the shrinking thing or if it's like the fruit and we're actually stuck with it

Agreed, the sun does appear to be working properly, so it is probably safe to assume that there's not going to be a problem. We'll see how long we are stuck with this.

I am hoping for days too.

like, if the plants didn't grow or the colors don't come back

I would have to get the information to scientists better prepared to answer that question, and they would probably have to work quickly.

So, let's just hope it's aesthetic.

i have a feeling we're all going to end up with the local biologists on call at the rate this is going
weird animals, weird plants, now the possibility that the plants won't even grow
they've got their work cut out for them

Yes, it seems like they might end up with a very unusual set of skills at this rate, yes. I am, however, very hopeful that this is just on the surface of things.

well they won’t be alone if what some people have said is true
but the more this weird stuff happens, the more likely it is they’ll find an explanation for it, right?
then we might actually be able to do something about it

The more angry we get, the more we team up, and eventually they will be forced to regret what they're doing. I'm sure some are trying already.

For now it's hard to organize with Jim watching us.

Heh. I don't do codes on the network. Then he'd have a chance to figure the codes out, wouldn't he?

If he doesn't see it, it's that much harder to do... though I don't see any harm in trying codes here. Might amuse and distract him for a bit.

Indeed. It's not as if he didn't suggest them, or as if the ones I offered weren't painfully simple to break. Real ones would be much more complicated.

He isn't just kind of asking for it. He's literally asking for it, but there's no way in which it is a bad idea.

Library should work, and doesn't involve the app. Look up "Ciphers" in the card catalogue. I'm pretty sure that there are books on the subject.

well if he really wanted encryption i bet we could even find someone who’s good with computers to write a program for it
