Polling the Masses?

Did anyone else receive a strange survey from Retrospec today, asking what we would most like to have brought back? I am being absolutely serious. I just received one from that morceau de merde, Jim. I cannot even begin to decide what to think about this. Are they polling us now? As if we have any say in the matter?

Voted for the color blue to return. Much as the gray suits my mood, it IS a bit depressing. Got one afterwards, voted for Green.

Suppose that makes the most sense. It is the safest choice... I wouldn't want to vote for anything that gives Retrospec the liberty of messing something else up, yet again.

Oddly there were only four options. Horses, the fruit and the colors They were explicitly aware of each of the changes, and aware we were aware. It was the closest to an outright admission that he could change things I've ever seen.

Given the whole stalking situation he revealed last month, I can't say I'm surprised. That is still rather interesting, however... Why bother asking when he has seemingly absolute control? I doubt he'll listen to the surveys anyway...

I doubt he really will either, even if he put some weird tracker up to keep tabs on the results. And like you said, he has the power to do this, so why ask?

It probably amuses him.

A work in progres. The trick is finding ways to deal with him that he can't actually see. As I'm sure you understand all too well.
