It looks like I have finally joined the ranks of those who have received strange packages from Retrospect. I was starting to think I would be the only one not remembering any strange memories or getting strange mail. Is it wrong I was starting to feel a little left out? ...Don't answer that. So back to my mail! As you can see it's a bit...unusual. I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be. Some weird bunny costume? But there's padding and a utility belt...hmm. What do you guys think?

They're okay. I don't necessarily like them more than other animals though. Definitely not enough to dress up like one.

That's the weird thing. I know the mouth piece looks weird from the outside, but when you really look at it it seems to be a protective mask of some sort. Like, to protect the face.

Izuku Midoriya Yeah! I thought that too at first. There's definitely a lot of padding on it too. But it's also a little...goofy looking. Even by superhero standards.

Izuku Midoriya A domino mask is a classic, but it's not very useful in reality. There's no protection for your face and it doesn't really do much for keeping your identity a secret either.

It does have a lot of padding on it. It kind of looks like somebody's first superhero costume.

Well I haven't remembered anything about being bunny obsessed yet so stay tuned I guess.

Yeah, but the more I study it the more thought out it becomes. It's really well made too. Whoever made it really put a lot of thought and care into it.

[And...he has this innate sense that the costume belongs to him. But there's no way he could have made it. He can't even sew!]

Maybe it's your first hero costume and alternate you pulled it together with whatever he had lying around.

But why would he make his own hero costume? For some kind of original cosplay contest or something?

[That seems like the most likely explanation here. He's not really ready to broach the thought that alternate him could really be a super hero.]

Izuku Midoriya A cowl would offer more protection for sure. But something I think that works for this costume is the full face coverage. Even if the style of it is a little strange.

Izuku Midoriya I'm not really sure. But that would be a reasonable explanation. There are some cosplayers who create original designs for themselves rather than costumes resembling other works or characters.

There are cosplay contests like that, right? Maybe you can wear it to the convention.

Thanks. They seem to be the only normal piece of the outfit. They're my size too...

Looking at the bright side, you just got a free set of great shoes you can wear when and however you like after you checked them for any unwanted surprises.

Unwanted surprises, I didn't even think about that. You think Retrospect is hiding something in the costume?
