yo. looks like there's still some residual effects coming up, but they should be pretty harmless since the kid was in charge of redistribution. she says it should be "cool". just don't do some damn idiot thing about them and you should be fine. this is absolutely not in my job description but the intern's busy and half of r&d is still banned and hr is on honeymoon. so you'll just have to deal with the lack of fancy bullshit. anyway. good luck or whatever. Wendy Guo Security Retr ![]() As of this post, normal lemons now exist alongside the dancing variety!
As a reminder, a thread from this post with at least five consecutive comments from you is this month's qualification for a free regain! Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. New characters will find that the first image they put as their userpic is locked in for the month, though it will be able to be changed in October. |

As a priest I feel it is my duty to recommend pity over the sin of envy, for what it's worth.
Additionally, I've skimmed through a few others' comments and seen quite a few extraordinary-sounding things mentioned, but bingo is a new one. Care to elaborate?

from what i understand, the perpetually aggravating jim sent many retrospec users some sort of "bingo" card with a variety of strange actions to complete, and suddenly everyone decided it was worth playing along with the people who took away horses and the color of the damned sky.
i admit i don't know if they actually got anything from it, but i still question why anyone would bother taking their offers seriously to begin with.

[Ragna why do you keep running into Karl on those very rare occasions when he's a towering pillar of salt.]
First of all, my initial set of questions was directed at the member of the Retrospec staff who posted the recent notice, futile as I now recall that effort to be.
Second, I have in fact had several of my questions kindly answered by a number of our fellow Retrospec users to the best of their ability, a gesture of charity from which I think we can all take a lesson.

Yes, by now it does seem that most of the rest of the network is only slightly better off than I am. I suppose I should have expected as much, knowing how Retrospec is.
Hello, my child. I am sorry to see that you're still trapped in all of this.

so if you were off Retrospec then...
do you actually remember what happened last month?
or do you remember whatever the retconned version is?
or some combination of the two
Lalli Saku Hotakainen
Well, I can't very well object to that, though I do question Janet's taste.
And I can't say I'm truly surprised that the Retrospec staff have been increasing faster than their ability to usefully communicate with us has, but I am somewhat disappointed.

but increasing might not be the right word
