yo. looks like there's still some residual effects coming up, but they should be pretty harmless since the kid was in charge of redistribution. she says it should be "cool". just don't do some damn idiot thing about them and you should be fine. this is absolutely not in my job description but the intern's busy and half of r&d is still banned and hr is on honeymoon. so you'll just have to deal with the lack of fancy bullshit. anyway. good luck or whatever. Wendy Guo Security Retr ![]() As of this post, normal lemons now exist alongside the dancing variety!
As a reminder, a thread from this post with at least five consecutive comments from you is this month's qualification for a free regain! Please feel free to use this post as a network mingle. Every toplevel can be considered a new post, and threadjacking is permitted. No NPC response will be given. Usernames are the character's full real AU names, not aliases or chosen nicknames or usernames, and seemed to have filled themselves in; nothing characters do can change or obscure their names currently. New characters will find that the first image they put as their userpic is locked in for the month, though it will be able to be changed in October. |

If that's enough for inspiration, then I wonder why companies make those expensive ones?
You've seen them before, right? The ones that are leather-bound with "authentic" pages?
They're beautiful for sure, and perhaps inspiring in their own way, but they'd surely take a bite out of my wallet first. (;¬_¬)
[School campus notebook it is, then! Maybe he can accompany her while buying her first notebook!! ... Well, notebook specifically for writing.]

[I mean. They do always LOOK really nice.]
But there may be a difference in the paper quality - they do the same with sketchbooks. The thicker, smoother papers that hold ink and paint better usually come at a higher cost.
I would guess it's the same for a writing notebook, especially if you use fountain pens. The thinner the paper, the more likely it is to bleed through. (。・ω・。)?

[Not that she didn't think it wasn't; she knows there are different types of sketchbooks with qualities and textures that range from cheap and thin to rich and thick, but she didn't think it applied to writing as well. Interesting!]
Though with art, you draw with the intent to show to your audience. If I wrote poetry, I think I'd write it down, then type it later. My handwriting's not one to write home about! [Not that it's bad, but it's certainly not the flowing caligraphy that you often see in museums or tv programs.]

[Cost cutting will always mean cheaper, thinner paper. At least, that has always been Yusuke's experience.]
There might be something charming about keeping your original handwritten pieces, at least for reference. I'm fairly sure there are places in the United Kingdom where you can see the original manuscripts of Shakespeare's plays...

It looks like at least one of them's being kept in the British library, though they had one on display in D.C. last year before returning it. It's incredible to think that writing can last for so many years!

I wonder if they are more careful with it because it is a by a famous playwright.

Though it does make me feel bad for the writers who aren't as well known. :( If their manuscripts weren't preserved and just left to wither.
