Okay so... something came to light earlier this month, and I've been thinking a lot about it. I'm still so confused about it though, so I thought I'd ask everyone else here (^^ゞ If you found out that you were someone super famous like... idk George Washington or smth in the memories you're getting... what would you do about it? Haha I know this sounds super silly. I mean, it sounds like a ploy for attention or something, I guess? (´～｀ヾ) But I'm actually kind of freaked out about it... Like, would you all want to find out "spoilers" about what your memories are probably going to be like? Or would you avoid it? If it's awful... I don't think I want to know more... …φ(。。*)

From what everyone's told me, there's no dodging the memories... so maybe reading up on your past self would give you a way to brace for them?

... Though I admit I just ignore everything until it blows up in my face, so. Easier said than done, I'm sure.

I think that the other me was a poet, or something. I'm not convinced but it seems like it. Though probably by another name. I don't know what to think about it yet and nobody can tell how you're supposed to feel, either. Maybe it'll get better in a while, or at least feel less..weird.. eventually.

I don't remember anything like that, though.
no monsters, no strange super powers, nothing. just old-timey clothes and buildings and fighting with swords, things like that.
and... I remembered a name. and when my friend googled it, he was a real person and it all fits together with the memories I already got （´・｀）

unless they're Japanese and know a bit more Japanese history than I do, which admittedly isn't hard.
idk it's sadly not as useful as having been Marilyn Monroe or someone.

so like... kind of like remembering that you were Hercules, something like that?
I guess there are more versions of the same mythology around, but then again... well, history isn't an exact science either.

I suppose knowing what kind of world you were a part of really does help explain some of the memories. I experienced something like that too.

Yeah, I know. Some memories can be really terrible. And remembering these things, and how easy it can happen, is scary too.

i think it depends if you think you really want to become that person or not
because you should still be the you you are here but you don't have to be 100% the person you are in your memories
but if you feel scared i don't feel like you should push yourself until you're calm and ready for it

But like Chiyo said, you don't have to be that person. You just need to be who you want to be. Your memories don't make you who you are today.
