[posted late on 10/6] and so, arm-ageddon begins

Retrospect just chopped my f****** arm off
I woke up this morning with only one arm
My dad's going nuclear and my sister screamed when she saw me
What the hell am I supposed to do now

Before anyone asks no I don't need to go to the hospital I already got it looked at
But consider this a PSA start sleeping with one eye open
In case retrospect comes for you in the middle of the night with a f****** hatchet

Anyway this means A Lyrical Assassination is going on indefinite hiatus
I never got around to finishing it but here's what I managed to put together for the new album before retrospect decided to rip my arm off
Enjoy it because it's the last music I ever made

[ And here is a link to his soundcloud/bandcamp. The album cover is this, and the track listing is here. ]

I absolutely will not allow that to be the last music you ever make! You're clearly passionate about it! It'd be a shame to let that go to waste just because of Retrospec's sadism.

What instrument did you play? Guitar? I'll start researching.

You said you lost your arm, not your sight. Don't make me repeat myself. I already said what I'm going to do.

I'll find a way for you to keep making music.

I don't know yet. It's not like I'm some biotech expert! I'll need time to research ways. I only know it can be done. You're not the only musician with only one functioning arm, you know.

I have my own resources. I'll ask around. There may be the possibility to apply for... grants or something, too. I'm not sure, but it's possible to get both the money and expertise if I try hard enough.

There are grants for bio-engineering and there are students and professionals in that field within this city. You think your problem is one the bio-tech industry wouldn't be interested in solving?

It makes sense that you're panicking. I won't say you shouldn't be and I won't make you do anything until I know what options are open. I'll do the legwork. Don't worry.

(If you're going to look up anything on google look up Rick Allen. Maybe Tony Iommi, too.)

Because you clearly love it.

People with your type of passion deserve to keep doing what they love. Only then can they do something extraordinary.

I want to see what you can do.

You're so tiring.

I won't expect it soon, idiot. I'd just... like to see it someday. I'm not unrealistic enough to think that'll be in a year or two. Just when it happens, I'd like to see.

I'll let you know if my research brings up anything.
