Happy 3 AM, fellow Retrospectres who can't/won't sleep because of all the nightmares and ghosts and memory fog and all that (and happy morning to anyone who checks their phone later, I guess)! I'm going to fall asleep if I don't start talking to someone soon and I'm trying to make it until dawn.

IF YOU ARE AWAKE RIGHT NOW, PLEASE WEIGH IN ON SOME/ALL OF THE FOLLOWING TOPICS (or you can message me when you wake up, that's fine too) :

-If this fog thing lasts for much longer, isn't it going to get in the way of Trick-or-Treating? If it rains (/creepy memory fogs) on Halloween, what do little kids (/university students who don't really get to celebrate Halloween in their home countries and would like to) do instead? Do I have to make backup plans or can we start some sort of safety Halloween caravan to protect the little kids (/occasional university students with no cool powers or survival instincts) from the monsters?

-Dave and I made a Finnish-language movie about magic pirates (and some other stuff, lots of symbolism, it's very deep), does anyone want to see it? -Completely unrelated: currently taking applications for subtitle and/or scriptwriting positions. Compensation consists of lunch from a taco truck and a couple half-completed customer loyalty cards from various cafes, and you can put it on your CV. Please contact me for additional details.

-What are your top three coffee places in the city, I'm going to try all of them by the end of the month

-Is this better or worse than when half of us disappeared and there were monsters running around in the daytime

-What's the most comfortable lounge to sleep in on the Recolle U campus (during daylight hours, so please no big windows)

Ooo, yeah! Spread out to protect the whole city! I like it a lot!

-plus then people can head back together in groups if need be! It's probably safer for everyone

-depends on what I'm in the mood for I think! I like working at the good bean but I think the coffee is better at Le Corbeau, but it's more expensive so Expressive is better for its price. I'm going to rank them all some day. Probably in a week or so at the rate I'm going.

-Some of my friends disappeared and they said this one is worse. But I guess they didn't have to worry about where they were? I should see if there are any patterns to which people prefer and why! It could be interesting

-I'll try it tomorrow! I am also pretty tiny so I should be able to fit, haha!

-Alright! Did you get anything from having a lot of them, btw?

-Haha I was already drinking a lot of coffee, this is nothing new

-That's a good question! I don't know if anyone ever figured one out. I think we can pull up one of the lists of the people who disappeared and see if they have something in common? But just out of my friends I know some people with really cool, intense powers disappeared, and then some without any abilities at all. So I don't think it's related to what you get from Retrospec.

-That's kind of a bummer, I wanted the candy to be something cool. I wouldn't mind getting a few more things from Retrospec, haha

-Ooo like where were you when the monsters all disappeared? Maybe it was people in a certain area? That's a good idea.

-And no its not going to get that cold here LOL that's the sort of coat I'd wear back home, where it's actually chilly in the winter. This is practically summer weather.

-Hmm, I'd made it out of the convention center. One of my friends disappeared and I'm pretty sure he was at home at the time, though. We should make a map or something and see what other people have to say.

-I'm from pretty far south, so usually around -10 C during the day in the wintertime! It's obviously a lot colder further north, but I'm not from the arctic circle or anything like that, haha.

-haha yeah, the coat is pretty useless here. But it's fine, I'd rather have mild winters than use a free coat from a creepy social media app

-Yeah, you're probably right. I wish you weren't, but... we haven't had much luck lately, huh? It'd be dumb to ignore something that we could do to help.

-Haha I do! Mostly I hate how hot it is here? You can always put on more clothing if you're too cold but you can't do anything if it's too hot.
