No. They might be based on real things but they're not genuine.

It appears to be somewhat warped versions of our memories.

Was she from one of the memories you received? Some people have shared memories with fellow app users meaning the people we see in the memories might exist.

In a way. She didn't have solid black eyes in the actual memory. And I... don't think it was of a fight to the death.

Sounds like the memory version of her is a lot less disturbing. Everything I've heard about the fog showing people has been meant to strike fear.

It certainly excelled in doing that.

She seemed real enough to me, like a manifestation of a demon.

Yeah, I encountered something similar in it. That it's probably not real doesn't really help much.
