This is Iggy. He's five years old, and next week is the one year anniversary of the day I adopted him from the Recolle Animal Shelter. He's not a sociable dog, but he's a friend of mine. I just received a memory about him, or a dog that's similar to him. A Boston Terrier that I called "Iggy" had some sort of power undoubtedly similar to mine, and I saw him take down another man. This makes we wonder: do you our pets could gain superpowers if they have a counterpart in the other worlds?

I'm really relieved your Iggy doesn't have superpowers, or taking care of him would have been kind of difficult.

I guess there's no reason why they couldn't?

He doesn't have superpowers *now*, obviously,
but I mean in the future. He'd be incredible to bring along if another "anomaly" comces along.

To be fair, said person also had superpowers and was trying to hurt us.

Do you think animals have souls? If they do, it's possible. If they don't, it isn't.

Alternatively, you may have named Iggy based on a buried memory, and he isn't the same, but just as special.

wouldn't a pet with a superpower be a huge pain to take care of?

I believe they do.

Animals have emotions. They form friendships and have personalities. Every dog is different, so if the connection to other worlds is explained with "souls", why is it only restricted to humans.

I think the other Iggy was a very smart dog to be able to have control of a spirit that fights for him. [As far as he knows, it's called a "Persona.] But I won't write it off as a buried memory. How do I become an archivist based on my previous life of traveling and adventure?

He shouldn't have been too bad when I've looked after this Iggy for so long.

you say that now, but when he starts tearing up the neighborhood?

That's why we train dogs.

Not to say that all dogs can blast holes in walls but in general we train dogs not
to mess things up.

He can't do it now!

but you should be planning for the future, shouldn't you? otherwise you're going to wake up one morning and find out you've got a new doorway into the kitchen and there's kibble all over the floor with your now extremely fat dog in the middle of it all.

Has Iggy seemed to regain any memories as well, to your knowledge? I've never thought about whether animals might be involved in this before, but if so, I imagine they'd go through the same things we do.

I would say that it's a bit difficult to tell a dog not to use his mind to break things when he doesn't even know how to do that in the first place.

Mohammed Hefaz I know that I traveled with a group of men and fought other people with superpowers (and monsters,
I think) so he must have gotten some sort of training to be working with us.

Not to what I can tell. It's not as if Iggy tells me what he remembers and why he feels confused.
Pet ownership would be hundreds of times easier if that were possible.

What were memory-Iggy's powers?

I wasn't able to tell much. He could summon a Persona like I can, but I think he had control over sand or Earth. I may be wrong, though.

I was thinking more along the lines of him suddenly being afraid of things he was afraid of in your memories, or liking new activities that he liked then as well.

That's a pretty useful Persona to have around.

Jamie Doh I hope so. Otherwise, that's a really dangerous trip to take a dog on.

No, I can't think of anything.

His behavior has improved, but that could be due to training.
