So we're doing this unit on advertising in English class, right? And we watched all these super-old commercials and talked about them and stuff. The point is, now I kinda have this stuck in my head.

Questions:
-How do I get it out of my head?
-How'd they make the kids get lifted by the invisible guy when CGI wasn't invented in the sixties? Wires? Blue screen, except for black-and-white somehow? Retrospec? I don't get it.
-Are oats even a good source of protein? I thought that was, like, meat and peanuts and stuff, and grains were for carbohydrates or something.

Sorry to ask, but this is really bothering me. At least it's not like those creepy burger ads with the plastic-face king.

I don't remember exactly, but recent. Probably not as old as this commercial.

I wonder why it suddenly just started being a thing, then. I mean, I know all the people who make video game consoles started out forever ago making non-game things, so I thought it might be the same for weird conspiracy companies.

Companies get founded all the time, though. Maybe it's one of the startup companies that didn't go bust when everyone was doing that?

What did they even have in the 1900s? Newspapers and silly hats?

I know they had golf, because one time in Social in grade five, we were talking about some guy who banned every sport on Sunday except golf because it was like a gentleman taking a leisurely stroll or something.

U2 is way more respectable than Retrospec. And albums are way more harmless than this nonsense.

I guess. Albums don't give you an identity crisis and this can? Is that what you mean?

Among other things. And I liked that album once I got over how weird it was that it just suddenly was on my phone.
