text post; let's get into the yuletide spirit!
Hey everyone, I was talking with John and we thought it would be really cool if Recollé had a Christmas Market! We'd have to put one together ourselves, and figure out where to put it... and it'd probably be kinda small, but really festive!
I think maybe we can have like warm chocolate, and spiced wine, and maybe some caroling!
So, um... can anyone let me borrow their space heater for the day or help me set up or something? Thanks!
[ OoC: I'll post a log later this week! Most Christmas markets sell Christmassy snacks and local crafts, so if you'd like to have your character man their own booth selling their stuff, I'll have a header up! ]

No, no it isn't. ]
Perhaps someone else will volunteer their own.
[ Laurent will not. Besides which, even if he for some reason wanted to he's sure it would be a security risk and his plans would be stopped. ]

[ You think that's gonna stop this boy Laurent u wrong ]

You don't think it's rude to assume someone has a permanent residence, and to ask if you can use it to hold an illegal Christmas market as part of a first conversation?
[ He could be homeless, Emil. How entitled of you. ]

[ But he could have been Emil.
He could have been! ]

It'll be festive and you won't have to decorate yourself!

[ ... Honestly, he does enjoy the lights but he much prefers them outside rather than in his own living area. ]

[ ... Not strictly true. Laurent does buy people gifts and sometimes eat festively decorated things. He just doesn't follow any religious celebrations, and also doesn't want Emil using his apartment for a market. ]
