Rules need to take a backseat to what's morally right, that's how a civilized society advances.

Rules are put into place to keep in check the immoral and unethical. Squirrels have survived without you and will continue to survive without you. If you cared about the squirrel and the people who lived around you, you could have found a better, more proper home for it.

Not anymore, he's been rehabilitated and lives near my apartment peacefully now, like I assured you he would at the time.
