003. Text // My time is only given up to you

We're about two weeks out from the end of the year, and as such I imagine that's more than enough advance notice - for those of us with no plans on New Year's Eve outside of "celebrating the fact that this year is finally over," as long as you're over the age of eighteen you're all formally invited to spend it at mine. Consider this an open invitation to the network; I don't give those out often. ♡

Rules and restrictions are simple things, and really, there aren't many:

1. Refrain from damaging my property.
2. There's a very loose dress code, consisting entirely of "please at least pretend to look presentable."
3. Don't torment my cat. She's a lovely creature that's done nothing to deserve it. ♡
4. For the love of God, don't spike any punch that's there. There's an open bar for a reason.
5. Following from the above, absolutely do not force me to deal with any of you on DUI charges after the federal holiday passes. If I have to prosecute any of you I will not be lenient. ♡

If all of that finds you agreeable enough, you're more than welcome to attend on New Year's Eve, Sunday night. Again, there will be an open bar; even if we can't taste it properly the alcohol still serves its purpose. Food and the like will also be provided. I have a large amount of space; I'm sure we can figure out something to do with it.

Any time after 7:00 PM is acceptable for arriving. Don't worry about being late; own it hard enough and call it fashionable and all will be forgiven. ♡

Are they allies?? I thought NORAD just kept an eye on him. I kind of figured that if things ever got really out of hand, they wouldn't hesitate to shoot him down.

...While I doubt that our esteemed government cares much for these matters, given that Santa seems surprisingly like one of the fae that happens to have chosen to be benevolent to humans, I'm fairly sure that shooting him down would actually be a terrible idea.

I wonder how widely he would work his vengeance. National borders can't possibly mean anything to a being like that, but maybe he'd limit things geographically.

I have to wonder what his particular vengeance would look like in the first place, honestly.

. . . Something jolly . . . probably.

Probably! ...Either that or we wouldn't be dealing with his vengeance so much as we would the vengeance of the rest of the court. After all, he tolerated us and look what we ended up doing.

I guess that one Retrospec employee said all our worlds were destroyed or whatever. Maybe this is how some of them ended.

Um this is going to sound weird but I have a question.
Santa wears red, right?
