Just a little question
One year ago, my dream was the travel the world. I don't know when that will be possible again, but when we are able to leave, I want to visit every location on my wishlist.
I've only traveled to Egypt to see my relatives, so tell me about the places you have been. What is the culture like? Where are the best attractions? What about the food?

Plus I remember my parents trying to get me to eat natto.
There used to be a sushi place here in Recolle that was really good but I think it's gone now.
Most of what I've remembered was from the 80s too.
But Kabukicho is really great.
A little seedy, but that makes it feel more real if you ask me.
There's a big gate that lights up on Tenkaichi street and tons of restaurants, bars and clubs.
It always feels like it has a mind of its own.
Then again it's the red light district so it never sleeps.

It wasn't terrible. But then I was an adult when I first at it.
I guess I can visit it once if there's something to do other than drink.
And the other obvious thing to do in a red light district.

You chew it and it gets worse...
My grandparents loved it, though.
The big thing to do I think is go to hostess clubs.
But then there's dance clubs and even a bowling alley if you're not feeling adventurous.
Well and you'd have to keep an eye out for yakuza but they aren't a problem as long you avoid trouble.

Hopefully they'll leave me alone if I go with a group of guys.
That don't try to cause trouble.
But if I don't think they'd be too protective of a bowling alley.

Yeah, they wouldn't cause you any trouble if you're a tourist.
You'd have to cause some kind of disturbance.
They're more efficient than the police in places like that.
[ Can you tell he was one. ]

You have a lot of memories of the yakuza?

I used to be one, before.
It's a rough life.

I know my boyfriend was.
But me...?
I've only remembered being on the lower rung so far.

Either implies something different.

We knew each other before, though.
He was in the Yakuza too.
He had a really big family.
I think we were just friends back then.

I don't really know how to explain it, but I think Majima has always been in my life, even before.
He and I were really close.
We fought all the time, he saved my life...
I think I was one of the only people who really understood him.
It would probably be strange if our lives didn't overlap so much.

I haven't met anyone I remembered except for my old roommate.
He moved out months ago, but he was the only link to the other world.

I realized someone I knew was someone from before, but it took me a while at first.
We've only worked together once or twice here, but we were friends and co-workers back then.
