Has anyone seen my son? He didn't come home last night or any time today. I tried to call him, but his phone is still in his bedroom, not with him. I tried all his usual places but he isnt their. I just want to know he is safe. Its so scary right now with the darkness, im afraid that something happened. I mite be over reacting but theirs so much going on. Please. Please tell me if youve seen him!

let me look [She'll take the time to really thoroughly check the house! It takes a little while for her to respond.] I cant find it, so he might have it. None of the usual pocket change laying around... I think he only forgot his phone.

Okay. If he didn't, he might just come home when he's hungry. But since he did, he'll be fine outside.

Between the pitch dark and leaving without a word I can't stand that he didnt tell me anything!!

Overreacting means you care. When he comes home, you can lecture him and accept his apology. In the meantime, you're doing what you can: have people out there to look, have somebody at home to welcome him back.
