Would you consider this to be a love song?

Just don't ask me why.

Though really, is someone trying to argue that it's romantic in any way?

in like kind of a sad and tragic way
i dunno
i just can't agree with it
if we're going for sad love songs
aren't there like 89 better ones?

And it seems like a lot of love songs are sad, at least as far as I can tell? Some of them are overly twee and happy, I suppose, but a lot of them just sound like unrequited pining to me. I don't understand how that's supposed to be romantic...? Or pleasant to listen to, for that matter.

listening to this
pretty sure i'm gonna end up chained in a basement
and trying to scratch out an sos on the wall with my broken fingernails
a m a z i n g
ok
so with that in mind
what is a song that you do like?

I usually end up listening to instrumental versions of things, honestly - the sort of thing that can keep my mind occupied with something without having words to distract me from whatever it is I'm doing. Because the last thing I need to have is sudden confusing bursts of tangentially-related lyrics in the middle of reports I'm working on.

and true fear burning in your heart
oh yea
i can get that
i like listening to game soundtracks and stuff
when i'm working because it's easy to get distracted
when stuff has lyrics
but i think i like lyrics any other time
