i have a question

is "you look like you go to hot topic" considered a compliment or an insult?

i've had this said to me before a few times but i woke up today with my eye color changed and now even more people are telling me this

i do not know hot topic's reputation enough to know if i want to be associated with it. please help

Maybe there's something such as an 'adult goth'.

I think they listen to a certain type of music. Punk or something.

punk is too loud

Then maybe you're not goth. I don't know much about goths either, though, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask.
