i have a question

is "you look like you go to hot topic" considered a compliment or an insult?

i've had this said to me before a few times but i woke up today with my eye color changed and now even more people are telling me this

i do not know hot topic's reputation enough to know if i want to be associated with it. please help

I don't know what to tell you. When people are shopping, they're just thinking about anything they might need, right? Or they're looking at things they don't need and weren't thinking about but then maybe thinking "Ah, that would be nice to have." Or "I love that cartoon, and the zipper IS kind of busted on my old lunchbox."

I feel like you're overcomplicating the issue. Clothing and lunchboxes really aren't all that far removed from each other in the grand scheme of consumer products.

If it's really bothering you, why not visit a Hot Topic for yourself and see what you think?
