however annotated next to the groups will be the information that group one is going to pesgare, group two is going to respartum, group three is going to bosuma, and group four is going to magatus.]

How would you like to help us help you out? Your observation period's up and I want you on this particular assignment. You'll be fine, you're probably not going to die, and we'll be able to monitor you from here. We need help. You've got the skills needed even if you don't know it yet. I know it and that's what counts.

You'll be working with a group (wish I could give you the names, still putting the lists together), but your assignment partner is [INSERT RANDO HERE]. Should you choose to accept this assignment, you will need to meet at the [LOCATION] and we'll go from there.

The one time I babysat my friend's puppies they were very good at making me follow them into the kitchen when they were hungry. They also brought me their toys to play with them and ran toward the door when they needed to go out.

They sound like they were really clever puppies... I'm not sure it'll extend to a dragon, though. I mean, human babies don't tell anyone anything. They just cry, and you have to guess...

Human babies cry, sure, but once they can move on their own they start being pretty easy to figure out I'd think? I mean, if they're hungry then they just start shoving all kind of things into their mouth.

I'm not sure... When my sister was a baby, she shoved all kinds of things into her mouth whether she was hungry or not...

Isn't that some kind of learning what things are edible and what not stage?

I mean, probably, but I feel like

1. It kind of goes against the central thesis that you can easily figure out what a baby needs

and

2. It might be really dangerous for everyone if a baby dragon went around shoving things in its mouth

I guess that'd be where you come in as a responsible owner. Or keeper. Dragon trainer?

It was just an idle thought at first, but yes. I'm now feeling legitimately very concerned about the possibility of having to raise a dragon.

Because I don't know anything about raising dragon children, and I probably can't play the whole thing by ear even if the baby is good at communicating its wants. It's going to grow up and need therapy, or die of malnutrition because I don't know enough to make it eat dragon vegetables or something!!
