My name is Sakichi Niijima. This message is addressed to those of us still in Recollé.

Valentine's Day is approaching. Many of you had plans with members of the expeditionary teams that are no longer feasible, but all is not lost. I and Chiyo Matsuoka intend to deliver any parcels addressed to those expeditionary members, provided they are entrusted to us by February 14th. The Post Office is continuing its hold on all out-of-town mail, so do not send any of your gifts through traditional mailing methods.

Please reply if you have a letter or parcel you would like delivered, and we will arrange for a pick-up.

I'm surprised (in a good way of course) that you managed to get a hold of Joanne for this though! I kept hearing that it's basically impossible to hear back from Retrospec, but I guess that has to be changing after what Zee said in her post.

Joanne was the one who volunteered contact with us. It was a lucky thing.

Zee Carlisle does seem to be ushering in a new age of Retrospec-Retrospecter interaction. I can only imagine how frustrating it must have been before.
As I understand it, it's been a full year since Retrospec began its workings on the people here. An extraordinarily long time to be in the dark.

Yeah! Exactly! Everyone was telling me that they'd just make those posts and then not actually respond to anyone. So pretty much all they had to go on was whatever the posts told them... Frustrating is the perfect word for it, I'd say.

In fact, I've already sent Mr. Carlisle a message and received a frank response. It bodes well for the future.

Oh! I didn't realize Zee is a Mr. Whoops. That's good to hear, though! I should probably do that too, though I'm not really sure what to ask first... I think I'd just end up bombarding him with questions. ;;

It never hurts to ask questions. If he doesn't want to answer, then he won't answer.
He seems to prize initiative. If you were interested in assisting with the RRI, speaking with him first would work in your favor.
